Shoe Shopping Woes

Instead of apologizing for time lost or making up for it with summaries or excuses, I give you haiku(s) about shoe(s).

“No big sizes,” she

Says, taking the shoe away.

But the tongue reads L.

Blust’ry Korean

Shoe shopping. As futile as

Finding whole wheat bread.

Oxfords, just man won.

I love you, small black oxfords

I left in the subway.

Cute and petite shoes

Are only made for the feet

That share those qualities.

The shame of asking

Above two hundred and fifty.

Eyes open wide.

Cold, Seoul winters;

Over-priced H&M import.

I found my size.
